KEANEKARAGAMAN JENIS UDANG AIR TAWAR (DECAPODA: CARIDEA) DI PULAU LABOBO, SULAWESI

Abstract

Pulau Labobo merupakan bagian dari gugusan pulau-pulau di Kabupaten Banggai Laut yang terletak di bagian timur Sulawesi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keanekaragaman udang air tawar di Pulau Labobo, Sulawesi. Sampling dilaksanakan pada bulan Februari 2019 pada empat lokasi menggunakan tray net dan hand net (mesh size 260 μm). Sampel diawetkan menggunakan etanol 96%, kemudian identifikasi spesimen dilakukan di Laboratorium Biosistematika Hewan dan Evolusi, Jurusan Biologi, Fakultas MIPA Universitas Tadulako. Analisis data meliputi penghitungan Indeks Keanekaragaman Jenis Shannon, Indeks Kekayaan Jenis Margalef dan Indeks Similaritas Jaccard. Udang air tawar yang ditemukan di Pulau Labobo terdiri atas delapan spesies, yaitu Macrobrachium equidens, M. australe, M. latidactylus dan M. lar, Caridina typus, C. celebensis, C. gracilipes dan C. weberi. Keanekaragaman udang air tawar di Pulau Labobo tergolong rendah secara umum, tetapi Mata Air Batambean memiliki keanekaragaman tertinggi karena stasiun ini memiliki habitat yang bervariasi dari hulu hingga ke hilir sehingga lebih memungkinkan untuk dihuni oleh udang air tawar dari berbagai jenis. Macrobrachium australe dan C. typus merupakan spesies yang mendominasi jenis udang air tawar di Pulau Labobo. Delapan jenis udang yang ditemukan di Pulau Labobo adalah udang air tawar yang tersebar secara luas dan merupakan spesies yang bersifat amphidromous.
