Reinwardtia is a scientific journal that has been published since April 1950, this journal has become an international reference source in the fields of biology, particularly on plant taxonomy, plant ecology and ethnobotany.This journal is being a continuation of the Bulletin du Jardin botanique de Buitenzorg firstly published in 1898.It was published in Dutch, English, French and German but now is published in English only. Reinwardtia name comes from the name of a German botanist scientist - Prof. Caspar Georg Carl Reinwardt (5 June 1773, Luttringhausen - 6 March 1854, Leiden) the founder of the botanic gardens at Bogor. Reinwardtia Journal witnessed the birth and development of the science in Indonesia especially in the field of plant taxonomy, plant ecology and ethnobotany.
